May has finally brought great weather to our lives!  This spring season has been filled with cold temperatures, snowy days, and bleak gray days --- and it is delightful to have the sun rise in the mornings with clear warm days to see.

We need to be making plans for the Rotary-Kiwanis Golf Scramble to be held Sunday, June 24 at the Spring Hills Golf Course.  This is becoming a major fund-raising event for our Rotary Club and we need everyone’s support to make it a success.

It is wonderful that we can join with the Steubenville Kiwanis Club to make this a great event for both clubs.  Even if you don’t play golf, don’t think that excludes you from participating or assisting with the day’s events.  I had never been part of a golf scramble until two years ago, but I found that all the background work needed to make this a success is as much fun as playing golf.
So, let us know that YOU can help in some way from sponsoring a team, to sponsoring a hole, or providing raffle prizes, to simply helping the day of the scramble.  (let us know that you can help!

Remember all of the events that happen in Steubenville in June; from Ohio Valley Frontier Days at Fort Steuben to the Greek Festival and Dean Martin Days.  I even purchased new breeches for Frontier Days at Fort Steuben.

What you missed in April:
Making Rotary proud! Our Interact Students led Steubenville High School's Relay for Life fundraiser. Together the students raised $4,800!

April 20th- Adam Scurti presented Mike Jacoby who discussed economic development in the region.
